Zachary Ying and the Dragon Emperor

Zachary Ying is an ordinary Asian kid, but when he learns that he has to host the spirit of a powerful Chinese emperor, he is pulled into a fantasy world made of Chinese stories in order to plug a portal to the underworld before his mother's soul is destroyed.

This book shows how friendship and courage can mean almost everything sometimes. This made me appreciate my friends and their stories.
