Year of the Rat

This book is about a girl named Pacy throughout the year of the rat. She has to deal with changes such as her best friend, Melody, moving away to California. She also needed the courage to keep going with her dream of being a writer and illustrator.

I like this book because the main character was very funny. I thought it was cool that this story was based on Grace Lin's childhood.
