Dim Sum Palace

This book is about a girl named Liddy who loves Dim Sum. She’s super excited to go to the Dim Sum Palace the next day. When she goes to sleep, she smells something yummy and follows it to the Dim Sum Palace! She sees chefs making all kinds of dim sum like buns, dumplings, and rice cakes. Liddy falls into a dumpling bowl and gets turned into a dumpling! The Empress almost eats her, but Liddy shouts, “I’m a girl, not a dumpling!” The Empress lets her go, and Liddy wakes up, realizing it was just a dream.

I learned that there are many kinds of Dim Sum. They are so delicious! I learned that there is an empress who lives in the Dim Sum Palace.
